DrugPak Drugpak not showing previews of PDF Updated August 08 2024
Reinstall Drugpak including Ghostscript

The setting that controls this behavior is in DrugPak Classic's Document Manager menu > Manage File Types.

Image Viewer uses a technology that is inherent to the software used to create DrugPak, Delphi. This option provides some benefits in that the image display interface includes tools such as annotation. This option has limitations in the codecs available, which cannot be modified. A document created with a codec that is not supported by the Delphi tool cannot be displayed in this mode. This option will display documents within the View Documents window.

Internal Browser uses the technology of Microsoft Internet Explorer to display documents. This option relies on configuration of MIME Types that can be managed through settings in Microsoft Internet Explorer. This option will display documents within the View Documents window.
**NOTE - Windows 11 does not include Microsoft Internet Explorer and because of this, the "Internal Browser" Viewer setting is incompatible with Windows 11.

Windows Default Handler uses whatever application that Windows would use to display the file type. In contrast to Image Viewer and Internal Browser, this will NOT display the document within the View Documents window, but instead will launch the application specified by the

Windows Default Handler. This option is most likely to be successful in displaying the document because it would be able to use any codec that is installed to Windows.

Specific Application allows you to specify a executable to handle the file type. The drawback of this option is that in a network environment it relies on the specified application being installed at each workstation, and that installation being available at the same file-path. When selecting this option choose the application by browsing for the application file.
