Install Visual Studio Code
Install extension Remote Explorer

Use Puttygen to generation a new SSH key.
- Copy the text from large textbox to username/.ssh/authorized_keys on remote SSH server.
- Use Conversion --> Export OpenSSH Key to save to a file for OpenSSH remoting.
- Use Save Private Key to save a file which can be used with WinSCP.

C:\Users\Username\.ssh\config

Example format:
Host google.com
HostName ssh.google.com
User my_google_username
IdentityFile C:\Users\username\.ssh\my_google_username_private_openssh
