The best Adblocker I have found is uBlock Origin. It works in Chrome and Firefox, links are below. This also helps protect you against malware, as malicious ads are a common way that malware gets into a computer. Recent versions of Chrome are about to block a feature that it needs, and so there is a new uBlock Origin Lite version which has less features but will keep working
