If all the toolbars (including the top one with the X in the top right corner) are white, you could not interact with them. You could still work on the PDF with the few side toolbars that showed, and closing from the taskbar worked normally.
The fix I found (on the website below) was to: Open the Intel HD Graphics adapter settings, go to Display, and change the Scaling to "Maintain Aspect Ratio". Slightly different instructions were on the webpage that didn't work for me since the Intel graphics driver didn't have those options under Display Settings, for me I had to open up the Intel program itself to make the changes. https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/white-bar-box-covering-options-and-toolbar/td-p/9902168 Here are the original instructions from that Adobe post, in case it gets removed. 1. Right Click on an empty space on your Desktop and go to Intel Graphic Settings 2. Go to Display Settings > Advanced display settings 3. Click on "Display adapter properties for Display #" (Choose the affected screen in case you have two monitors or do the following steps for both monitors). 4. In the adapter properties, go to "Intel HD Graphics Control Panel" tab 5. In the "Scaling" setting choose "Maintain Aspect Ratio" 6. Save settings if it gives you the option or just close out. | |
